A press release sent out Thursday revealed that Saddle Creek Records recently signed two new bands. One of them is none other than Lincoln art rock four-piece UUVVWWZ (pronounced "double-you double-vee double-double-you zee"). Their self-titled debut (originally released last year via The Show Is The Rainbow's It Are Good Records) has a new street release date July 7. The other new SC band is yet another Canadian group, The Rural Alberta Advantage. Their record "Hometowns" will also be re-released by Saddle Creek in early July. 

Great times with myself, Sean Brennan and Will Simons.  Of course the delectible Lacey Underalls was also present.  Not all there, up late the night before studying for finals at UNO, but still fun to have a female voice.I think the best thing that came out of the show on Saturday was that our managing editor Sean Brennan plans to dress up as Teen Wolf for Halloween.  Should be tremendously interesting to see Sean in that get up.  When he comes by the office, we'll be sure to get some pics and post them on the website.
